Mojito is a classic Cuban cocktail that dates back to the 16th century. It is believed to have originated as a medicinal tonic known as “El Draque,” named after the English sea captain Sir Francis Drake, who used it as a remedy for dysentery and scurvy. Over time, the recipe evolved, and the drink became popular in Cuba, particularly in Havana, where it was refined into the refreshing cocktail we know today. The Mojito gained international fame in the 20th century, especially after it became a favorite of writer Ernest Hemingway.

Flavor:

Mojito offers a refreshing and vibrant flavor, combining the zesty acidity of lime with the cool, herbal notes of mint. The sweetness of sugar balances the tartness, while the rum adds a smooth, slightly fruity undertone, creating a perfectly harmonious and invigorating drink.
