As we’re fully in the throes of winter weather and (mostly) in party mode, this month our radar has been focused on the hero coats and seasonal accessories about to hit the big time, and a quick scroll through our saved posts has thrown up some seriously good burgeoning trends. There are some double-tap worthy items making a strong bid for inclusion in your wardrobe right now, from the sparkly pair of flats that kickstarted an entire trend, to the jackets of the season. Keep reading for our picks of the high-street, premium, and luxury items that are cropping up on Instagram this month. There’s plenty worth screenshotting.
Style Notes: All it took was this pair of Alaïa ballet flats to send the internet into a frenzy, and before we knew it, sparkly ballet pumps were the look du jour. You’ll find them everywhere from Jimmy Choo to Dear Frances, but it’s the Alaïa OG’s that have a dedicated cult following.
Style Notes: It’s been a good year for the Bottega Veneta earrings. Spotted on the most stylish of ears, the drop style has been copied by so many high street brands—and while imitation is supposed to be the highest form of flattery, you can’t beat the OG pair.
Style Notes: Miu Miu is synonymous with so many seasonal trends—from the grey hoodie and micro mini to the sequin party pants. And there’s no forgetting the bags that are reaching cult status. The tan shoulder bag with golden logo is about to be the It style of the season, trust us.
Style Notes: Continuing it’s reign as the most-loved winter jacket, Toteme’s shearling toggle style is back for yet another year. There’s no denying it’s the brand that creates killer coats with staying power.
Style Notes: Another brand to look to for brilliant outerwear? The Frankie Shop. The LA-based label always manages to create viral pieces, and this time, it’s the maxi floor-sweeping coats everyone (including stylist Hannah Lewis) wants to get their hands on.
Style Notes: Ninety Percent is fast becoming the label minimalists cant get enough of. With its clean aesthetic, influencers are enjoying the simple knits, elevated basics and this ruched-detail, chocolate maxi dress in particular. No doubt it’ll be doing the rounds all party season.
Style Notes: If you have eyes, you will most likely have seen Ganni’s buckle flats on Instagram (or actual real life). The studded shoes—in black, red or cream—have been so popular with fashion people, and they’ll most likely be worn with socks all winter.
Style Notes: If there’s one brand you can always rely on when it comes to the high street, it’s Arket. Creating cult buy after cult buy, we have to say the buckle bag has to be one of the longest-standing items on Instagram. In so many colourways and textures, it’s the tax suede version we’re championing for winter.
Style Notes: If you bought a bomber in the summer, make sure it’s not vacuum bagged away just yet. The staple item of 2023 is sticking around for winter, too. If you haven’t bought one yet, then this wool style from & Other Stories is one so many people are wearing.
Style Notes: Question—what do Gigi Hadid, Sienna Miller and Lucy Williams all have in common? A love for Mango, of course. In fact, Gigi has worn this exact distressed leather jacket Lucy can be seen wearing, here. It has already sold out once, so don’t let it get away again.
Style Notes: Nothing says party season like a sprinkling of sparkles, and Aligne has nailed it with this denim co-ord. Making rhinestones oh-so-chic, you’ve most likely seen this jacket and jeans worn together, or separately, on so many fashion editors and influencers.
Style Notes: Blink and you’ll miss them! The latest Wales Bonner x Adidas edit is here, and while most colourways have naturally already sold out on the likes of Matchesfashion and Net-a-Porter, you can look to sites such as Laced, Vestiarie Collective or eBay to snap them up.
