8 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour

Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter and chopped semisweet chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Gradually stir the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar mixture until fully incorporated.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt.
Slowly fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Then, fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Sprinkle a small pinch of sea salt on top of each cookie dough ball.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
