Recipe of the roasted turkey with pomegranate and grapes, as a festive dish perfect for holiday gatherings. The sweet and tart flavors of pomegranate and grapes complement the rich taste of turkey, creating a beautiful and delicious centerpiece for any table.

2 hours 30 minutes

Ingredients:

10 lb whole turkey
1 cup pomegranate seeds
1 cup red grapes, halved
4 tbsp olive oil
1 lemon, quartered
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
1 cup chicken broth

Recipe:

Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Rinse the turkey inside and out, then pat it dry with paper towels. Place it in a roasting pan.
Rub the turkey all over with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
Stuff the cavity with lemon quarters.
Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the roasting pan.
Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 2 to 2.5 hours, basting occasionally with the pan juices, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
During the last 20 minutes of roasting, scatter the pomegranate seeds and grape halves around the turkey.
Once the turkey is fully cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before carving.
Serve the turkey garnished with the roasted pomegranate seeds and grapes.
