Ann Taylor is running a 30% off sitewide sale right now through 3/10, and full-price pants are priced at $59.90 (that’s 50% off for some pant styles!). After a dreary winter of black and greys, this bright puff sleeve blouse really caught my eye in their spring preview. I ordered right away when petites popped online, and will be packing it for spring break next week! I also ordered and would highly recommend my staple Audrey pants in their new crop length (got a size up since my usual was feeling snug), and these sailor pants that had great reviews.

I also recently partnered on an IG project with Ann Taylor and tried on a number of their other spring pieces! While I don’t have much opportunity to dress corporate style anymore, I included some quick reviews below on looks that stood out to me.

Floral Puff Sleeve Blouse

I want to emphasize that this is a strong puff shouldered blouse, which I personally love but not everyone is a fan of. I can easily see this as vacation / resort wear too paired with some linen shorts or a bright skirt. The quality is great in a lightweight cotton blend, with a 100% cotton lining and tiny pearlized buttons.

There is a hidden ruffle inside the puff shoulder to give it puff structure, so if you love the blouse otherwise, you could trim or sew down the ruffle. I personally feel the structure gives it more of a high end feel and looks very chic paired with slim fit bottoms.

Sailor Style Pants

I haven’t had a chance to take pics in these pants yet, but they might be one of Ann Taylor’s best trousers in a while. I hesitated to order since they looked super wide in the stock photo, but after reading through all the good reviews I was convinced to give them a try. I have to echo reviewers that the fit and fabric is quite nice, and they look very flattering and elongating just with a simple tank or bodysuit tee like this EP favorite Amazon one.

Twill doesn’t sound like the most appealing fabric for pants, but these have fluidity and are medium weight and not too thick. The waist actually fits me decently compared to other Ann Taylor bottoms, but FYI for shorter petites, I need to wear this length with high heels. Size 00 Petite measures 12.5″ across the waist, 10″ rise and 29″ in length.

Chain Mule sandals

These are fabulous designer-inspired block-heel slides that are actually comfortable, secure and stable feeling on the feet. I featured these a few times on IG stories and my LTK account (since both are much quicker to post on) and hope some of you were able to grab them while stocked! I went TTS with a size 5.

From their spring suiting arrivals, this shorter, trench-inspired jacket paired with trousers is elongating and modern, and the jacket can easily be paired with other pants and jeans. The fabric feels average in my opinion, and is a lighter/medium weight woven fabric. This would be amazing if they made it in their Fluid Crepe suiting material!

The jacket and pants both seem true to size for Ann Taylor’s typical standards. Their petite pants usually run a little big and long on me, and require a high heel if not hemmed.

For my IG video I also chose these knit sweater coordinates in a pretty blue, one of the more universally flattering colors. This textured sweater jacket fits TTS and is a medium/thicker weight, and these sweater shells are good elevated staples that I’ve bought in a few different colors over the years.
