Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups basmati rice
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ground turmeric
3 cups vegetable broth
1 tsp salt
fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Recipe:
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
Heat the olive oil in a medium-sized pot over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.
Stir in the turmeric and cook for another 30 seconds.
Add the rice and stir to coat with the garlic and turmeric mixture.
