A few more highlights from Singapore:
Botanical Garden & the National Orchid Garden – so stunning (but very hot outdoors!) See photos 1, 4, 5, 6
The National Gallery which houses the largest number of artwork by Southeast Asian artists in the world. Really loved walking through the galleries – it was good for the soul.
Arcade time with the kids. I have a fondness for arcades – it reminds me of my childhood! We battled it out on Pop-A-Shot, won stuffed animals at the claw machines, played air hockey and had so much fun together.
And not pictured: our day at Adventure Cove Waterpark on Sentosa Island. Lucia’s first waterpark! Such a thrill!
Noticeably absent? Food photos! Which is entirely misleading because we had what seemed like an endless rotation of delicious food: traditional Singaporean cuisine at Violet Oon’s National Kitchen, sushi at Tatsuya and endless yummy finds at air conditioned food courts to name a few. The food never sat long enough for me to take a picture!
Singapore has always been a bucket list destination for me – and we are so glad we made the trek. And we’re even more glad we got to experience it with Lucia and Kellan’s grandparents!
Next up: Phu Quoc, Vietnam.
