I recently answered a frequently asked question: “how do I look more polished?” The video got so many comments and messages on it – I was thrilled to see that it resonated with so many of you! So I’m back again with a Part Two, and three more easy tips:

Invest in your outerwear: A good quality jacket or coat is worth the investment! Find something that your 70-year-old self will still wear and then make sure the quality of that item lives up to that. Especially if you live in a four season climate, a significant part of the year is spent wearing a jacket, and often times it BECOMES the outfit. Designer sale season is a great way to stretch your dollar for an investment piece like this.
Replace your heel tips: find a local cobbler who can replace your heel tips before they get worn down. As you’ve seen over the years, I tend to re-wear some heels nonstop. A cobbler makes them feel new again after all that wear and tear.
Wrinkle resistant loungewear: I live in my loungewear and travel in my loungewear, but I don’t want to have to steam my loungewear!

So let’s chat about loungewear!! I’ve tried many brands but there are a few that have become my heros: they’ve been washed hundreds of times and still look new. They come out of my dresser without wrinkles and stay wrinkle-free all day. My favorites: these wide leg pants with this boxy tee (I wear a Small and love the Ivory), this zip sweater and jogger set (my favorite color is Ivory Marl and I wear a Small; also comes in a shorter inseam length for petites here!), and these wide leg pants and matching sweater (I wear a Small and prefer the Black color). I love styling them with a jacket or coat and my sneakers.

Happy Thursday – thank you so much for stopping by!
