I love how there are pieces from all over the world inside The Fifth Avenue Hotel. It feels like it’s own little art museum in the heart of the city. This is my second stay here for work and it’s such a special place. It inspires me to splash color on my own walls at home and collect eclectic trinkets along the way on my travels. Suddenly, you see interiors in a whole new way. There’s a quirky elegance here that tells a story, and I matched that worldly aesthetic in what I was wearing. I packed a lot of decadent brocade and metallics, Chinese cheongsam dresses from Malaysian designer Khoon Hooi, and fun polka-dot stockings. This is a hotel that gets me so excited to travel the world this year. The Fifth Avenue Hotel is the best of the best, proving that life truly is so much better surrounded by color.
