Interesting fact: G.H. Mumm champagne is traditionally raised on all major sports podiums. As early as 1949, the brand became the official champagne of Formula 1, and since then race winners have opened a bottle of Mumm on the podium. But the most famous gesture is the “Mumm’s Cordon Rouge” at the finish of the 1966 “24 Hours of Le Mans” race, when winners sprayed each other with champagne for the first time.
