I took a look around my closet the other day and realized I do not have a single piece of color.

Okay, maybe that’s a dramatization but I honestly don’t have a lot and lately I’ve been craving nothing but pops of chartreuse, bold red and fun statement bags and shoes. Dries Van Noten has really been pulling at my heart strings this season. I love the embellished bags! I’ve also been eyeing a few skirts by Des Phemmes.

Needless to say the winter feels as though it’s finally thawing. And yes, I’m wildly aware that I live in sunny California so I hope you picked up on the metaphor there. For a while, style has felt quite muted. Not bad, just colorless.  But lately I’ve felt something shift. The energy is different. Lighter. A little more curious.

I’m ready to start injecting color back into my life again. The kind of color that comes from saying yes to new experiences, letting myself feel excited about what’s next, and remembering that life is meant to be vivid.

So consider this the season where the palette starts to change again. A little brighter, a little bolder, and a lot more alive. Here are a few pieces that I’m currently eyeing.
