Very soon we’ll all be thinking about Spring cleaning… I thought it might be helpful to share a tip when it comes to editing your closet:
Editing isn’t just about removing items, it can also be about altering them to better serve you.
Here’s an example: you may be looking at three pairs of black wide leg trousers. If they are each a different length (allowing you to choose one for flats, another for heels, etc) then you have your bases covered! That’s not redundant nor is it excessive.
If, however, they’re all super long inseam and only work if you’re wearing heels, you could consider getting alterations on one or two of them to shorten the inseam so you can wear flats with them.
This is how you can add versatility to your closet without buying a single new item.
